Evaluation users report results comparable to imported bags at roughly half the cost; free evaluation kits are available so you can validate recovery and precision in your own lab before switching.
Single-use consumables for filter-bag methods — every test consumes bags, so supply continuity matters as much as price. The GB3 (fat, 3 μm hydrophobic) and FB25 (fiber, 25 μm hydrophilic) are manufactured to import-substitution grade: evaluation users report results comparable to imported filter bags at roughly half the cost, and the bags are in recurring volume use by major feed groups. Are Sonnen filter bags compatible with ANKOM instruments?
Yes. FB25 is the direct replacement for ANKOM F57 fiber bags and GB3 for ANKOM XT4 fat-extraction bags — same bag-method workflow, no instrument modification. (ANKOM is a trademark of ANKOM Technology Corp., which does not endorse this product.)
Can I get free samples before switching?
Yes — free evaluation kits are available. Domestic feed groups that switched report equivalent results at roughly half the cost; we recommend validating recovery and precision on your own samples first, and the kit exists for exactly that.
