The CE4 cation exchange capacity (CEC) pretreatment system automates reagent dosing, stirring, filtration and washing for CEC sample preparation in soil testing. Up to four filtration stations run a user-defined reagent program from the touchscreen.

- Four filtration stations with porcelain funnels and vacuum flasks on a slide-out filtration deck.
- Integrated reagent dosing and stirring mounted above the filtration deck.
- Per-station selection and user-defined schemes: reagent volumes, stirring time, per-reagent filtration times and wash cycles (shown in factory footage: ammonium acetate 70 mL, ethanol 80 mL, stirring 25 min, filtration 80 s / 30 s).
- 8-inch touchscreen with run, check and settings pages and a live process status display.
- Scheduled start available in settings.
